My life while the world spins madly on...

Thoughts arising while working as a scientist or just randomly spinning from my brain.

I don't give a damn, I'm happy as a clam, nobody knows me at all

Kein Respekt

I am surprised that there are people in #football who actually have an #opinion, dare to speak out and are completely right. http://goo.gl/bQz5U6
Respekt her Streich, #respekt.

Meanwhile there are apparently humans who are worth a 100 Million Euros...

UK really investing into sports

Just saw a a report on BBC Worldnews on #Britain investing really big time into #sports. The Airforce and military industry and all doing research for equipment and helping to train athletes. I think it is really good that they spend all this money, what use investing it into #education or even helping the #poor. Actually it is perfect, the #unemployed can watch the stars on the #Telly, see them win and celebrate with some #booze. Bang, everybody happy!

On my way to #ESEB13 in Lisbon I learnt this about the #English

From the #Economist some valuable information to keep in mind when travelling to the UK:

Of course now I am interested to see what the Portuguese like and dislike. Going to explore Lisbon.

time trial again

Riding to work for the first time in three weeks I note a slight temperature gradient between running at the Côte d'Azur between 8-9 am and Germany at the same time. Maybe it is not even the temperature, but rather the sun being much lower here and not already burning like mad. Also note that I like cycling more than running. Need to take the bike to Southern France next time.

Now lab meeting and then only some few hours to (as a good scientist always does) finish my poster in the last moment before heading out to Lisbon on Sunday. They wrote something like 35 - 39 Celsius with a minimum of 20. No running I guess...

back from vacations, relaxed and loaded like a spring at the same time
